Great overview of some of the benefits of life coaching

Great article on the role developing resilience in gay men can have on self esteem and overall well being. Coaching is a great way to develop self esteem in a safe, supportive environment. I particularly like this quote from Ron Stall: "interventions need to build on gay men's resilience, to be "strength-based," rather than deficit-based. "We're so focused on risk factors to the point that we forget about resilience," he said. "It seems to me a smarter way to go would be to look at the guys who are thriving in spite of the adversities, how they pulled that off, see what the lessons learned are, and apply that to the interventions we already use and have developed."

A brilliant article on the most common limiting beliefs and how, if left unchallenged can turn into reality, stopping us from getting what we want from life. Coaching is a great way to address limiting beliefs so that you can get what you want from life. I also love the Gandhi quote which captures this perfectly: "Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep telling myself that I cannot do a certain thing, I may end up by really being incapable of doing it".

Low self esteem often results in limiting beliefs that stop us from achieving what we want. Coaching provides the tools to address these so they no longer hold you back.
